Crayola is one of the most well known brands for all things coloring. You’ve more than likely come across or even used a Crayola product at some point. Especially if you’ve made it through K-12. You probably even have a Crayola coloring tool somewhere in your home right now.

The Crayola lineup includes crayons, colored pencils, markers, coloring books, clay, and even more. This brand provides endless ways to be a creative artist and has made its mark upon families and children everywhere for years. The Crayola company has lived in homes, schools, daycares and even doctor’s offices too. It has been embraced for so long now that Crayola’s impact doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

Speaking of impact that doesn’t seem to be stopping, this Tik Tok star would be the perfect influencer for Crayola. 19 year-old La’Ron Hines, the son of two parents who run their own daycare, started his own Tik Tok series called “Are You Smarter Than A Pre-Schooler?”. The series that features his God-sister JaBria, followed by about four other kids per segment, has more than 80 videos. This account is now at 6.2 million followers on Tik Tok.

Each video is of La’Ron asking the kids interview style questions. The kids say whatever comes to mind, which makes for some pretty hilarious answers. La’Ron and the kids very clearly have a great time making the videos together.

La’Ron is currently partnering with Bang Energy in his videos. While Tik Tok has a wide range of ages for demographics and Bang Energy can reach the right audience through La’Ron, Crayola is better aligned with the children he’s posting. There’s nothing wrong with sipping an energy drink with JaBria. But it would be a little more fitting if he were coloring or making art with the kids while asking his questions. And while I’m sure the kids and their families are compensated in some ways for their appearances, they’d probably enjoy free crayons over an energy drink.

And following his Golden Globe appearance, La’Ron Hines and his little learners could probably secure any marketing deal they wanted. They are officially the real deal and I think Crayola would be lucky to have them.
